Minutes of the January 13, 2026 Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.

Board members present: Supervisors Varichak, Kjendle, Clerk Schanche, Treasurer Samsa, Deputy Clerk Sandys.

The minutes of the December meeting were read and approved on motion by Kjendle. Second by Varichak, Motion carried.

Treasurers Report

The Treasurer’s Report was approved as reported on motion by Kjendle, second by Varichak , motion carried.

Fire Report

There was 1 fire call and 3 EMS calls in December

There were 21 fire calls and 57 EMS calls in 2025.

There are currently 22 fire and EMS members on the department.

Old Business

PJ reported that the shop and warming building off peak/dual fuel rate for electric heat will end soon. It was recommended at this time to switch to the conventional power rate instead of installing propane heaters.

New Business

The March regular Board meeting will be rescheduled to Wednesday March 11^th due to the Annual Meeting and Election on the 10^th of March.

The correspondence was read.

The bills were approved by motion by Kjendle, second by Varichk, motion carried.
