The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.
Board members present: Supervisors Reini, Varichak, Kjendle, Clerk Schanche, Deputy Clerk Sandys,
Treasurer Samsa. The minutes of the August meeting were read and approved on motion by Kjendle , second by Reini. Motion carried.
Treasurers Report
The Treasurer’s Report was approved as reported on motion by Kjendle, second by Reini, motion carried.
After discussion, a motion was made by Reini, second by Kjendle to renew existing CD’s to a 9 month contract, motion carried.
A motion was made by Reini, second by Kjendle to transfer $50,000 from Fire checking to Fire savings, and to place $200,000 from Fire savings to a 9 month CD. Motion carried.
Fire Report
There were 2 fire calls and 6 EMS calls in August.
Recreation Report
After discussion, a motion by Varichak, second by Kjendle to purchase new landscape timbers around the
playground area. Motion carried.

Melissa gave an update on the Paul Bunyan web host. Emails are ready to use
New Business
A question from Gene Capitani suggesting to the Board that the west end of Belschner Road is in need of
pavement repair. The Clerk will research to see if the easement from the Jordan family has been completed and also contact the County to see if they have any paving work in the area next season.
A request from Brian Moody was made for the Township to re-instate the special archery deer hunt. Jim will contact Jessica Holmes at the DNR for the procedure.
A request from Brian Moody was made to look into removing the Pine Tree Road sign off of Hwy 5. It is an unmaintained private road. Alan will contact the County.
The correspondence was read.
On motion by Varichak to add a $15,845 voucher to Century Fence to the voucher list, second by Reini, motion carried, and the the bills were approved.
