The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.
Board members present: Supervisors Reini, Varichak, Kjendle, Clerk Schanche, Treasurer Samsa, Deputy Clerk Sandys.
Barr Engineering presented the Lake Association channel study findings.
The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved on motion by Reini, second by Kjendle. Motion carried.
St. Louis County Deputy Jason Specht introduced himself as the local law enforcement officer.
Treasurers Report
The Treasurer’s Report was approved as reported on motion by Kjendle, second by Reini, motion carried.
Fire Report
There were 3 fire calls and 6 EMS calls in November.
Recreation Report
PJ is speaking with Lake Country Power in regards to the change in off peak power supplied to the skating
building and shop.
Old Business
After discussion a motion was made by Kjendle, second by Reini to pay $2400 to Paul Bunyan for website
development and design. The annual cost for website management will be $400. Motion carried.
After discussion a motion was made by Varichak, second by Reini to pay the required 0.88% of the Paid Leave benefits for employees. Motion carried.
New Business
A motion was made, seconded and carried to appoint the following election judges for 2026:
Talia Sandys, Shirley Sandberg, Janine Johnson, Nancy Knezovich,and Diane Sandberg.
The correspondence was read.
The bills were approved by motion by Reini, second by Kjendle, motion carried.
